We all have holidays that remind us of the good old days. A time when we were young, a time of exploration, a time of taking chances, a time of making mistakes, a time of learning, a time of dreaming….a time of making memories.

One of my favorite holidays is Valentine’s Day. I know what your thinking–of all the one’s to choose from, why Valentine’s Day? Well, I look at February 14th in a special light. As you know, Valentine’s Day is when we recognize our lover. I mean there shouldn’t be one specific day that we do this, it should be every day (I would get into trouble if I didn’t say that), but since there is, I make the most of it.

Whenever this time rolls around, my memory always takes me back to a time when love was new and fresh. When we were young. Remember how you felt giving or getting your first Valentine’s Day card in elementary school? What about your first Valentine’s Day date? The awkwardness. Remember high school sweethearts? Who knows you may still be one! Valentines’ Day… when we were young.

How about you? Remember what it was like to be young? I’m sure you do- let’s be honest, it’s always on our mind. That’s not to say our lives right now are not just as exciting and fruitful.
