Dr. Eugene J. Nowak, D.O. F.A.O.C.D

Dr. Eugene J. Nowak, founder of Nowak Aesthetics, is the first doctor to perform ThermaLipo in San Diego, the most innovative procedure in cosmetic surgery that produces ultimate results in skin tightening and body contouring. Dr. Nowak has been practicing in the South Bay for the past eight years in Chula Vista and more recently in Eastlake. His practice serves residents throughout San Diego County for dermatological, cosmetic surgery and skin rejuvenation procedures. As a Board Certified Dermatologist who received his Medical Training at MidWestern University, he was appointed to the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honor Society. He completed his residency at the POH Medical Center, through Michigan State University, acting as Chief Resident. He also served as Resident Liason to the American Ostheopathic College Of Dermatology Board of Directors. Dr. Nowak is a guest speaker at national and international medical meetings and performs as preceptor to many physicians and cosmetic surgeons training them in Dermatologic and Cosmetic Surgery procedures. He currently trains residents through one of the USCD medical training programs.

Ron Colunga, PA-C

San Diego Dermatologist Ron Colunga, PA-C, joins the Nowak Aesthetics team with over 15 years of medical and dermatological experience. His areas of specialty include all aspects of dermatology, dermatological surgery, and allergy care. He also has experience with lasers for skin rejuvenation.

Ron received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Iowa and graduated with distinction. He also has a second degree from the University of Texas in Austin where he also graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

I had been managing Dr. Nowak’s office since 2001 and now that we have a new Office Manager, I’m able to start new and exciting new projects for Nowak Aesthetics.

One thing that I will not stop doing is taking care of patients and helping them achieve their goals in the most comfortable and pleasant way. This has been and it will be my number one goal. There is nothing better than hearing from our patients how happy they are with their results and the care that we provided. We have so many wonderful, exceptional and nice patients that it is a pleasure to come to work every day.

Clara Morrison

Billing Department Manager

I had been in the medical field for over 25 years specializing in medical insurance billing and collections.The first 10 years of my career I worked for a Medical Billing Service, Collection Agency, and a full service Hospital. My experience along with area physicians inspired me to open and manage the very first medical billing and collection agency located in St. Mary’s, Georgia. I also volunteered both my time and billing skills at Hospice of S.E. Georgia helping terminally ill patients and their families. I relocated to San Diego with my husband and 2 children and have spent the past 15 years of my career managing the billing for San Diego area physicians. I currently manage our billing department and enjoy assisting our patients with their accounts.

Dale Tarde-Swiersz enjoys her work very much as a Patient Coordinator at Nowak Aesthetics since 2009.

Originally from Long Island, New York, I had worked for doctors in New York, Florida, Arizona and San Diego since I was 19 years old.

I came to Nowak Aesthetics after working for a cosmetic plastic surgeon for 11 years in San Diego. I love helping people look and feel better about themselves.

While studying to become as a Medical Administrative Assistant, I began working with Dr Nowak as a patient coordinator at Nowak Aesthetics in October of 2009. After graduating with Honors in March of 2010, I became very involved with patients’ insurances and helping them to understand their benefits so that they can get the care that they need as quickly as possible. My number one goal is to provide the best customer service possible because it makes me feel cheerful when our patients leave our office with a smile.
