Then it’s time to RSVP to Nowak Aesthetic’s Open House on Tuesday, October 18th – because Juvederm’s Volbella has officially arrived at our San Diego practice!

What is Volbella?

Developed by Juvederm, Volbella is an FDA-approved injection that’s designed to increase fullness around the lips, as well as soften the appearance of lines. Volbella is different from other dermal fillers in that it combines different hyaluronic acid molecules to create a light and weightless gel.

This light gel provides subtle volumization to the lips, all while softening and minimizing the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the mouth. Volbella is ideal for lip augmentation, as well as treating smoker’s mouth and aging lips. Volbella has also been approved for the treatment of acne scars.

Side effects with Volbella are minimal; most patients experience mild bruising and swelling at the injection site. These side effects usually dissipate a few days after the initial treatment. In the rare case that a bruise occurs, we have a laser that can treat it.
